There are two exits in the course, both in the same room and as Giant Gates. The main exit can be reached by a Beanstalk after hitting a Rotating Block. The other exit is across a wide bottomless pit that must be reached by using cape or a flying Yoshi. Three 1-Up Mushrooms appear in Rotating Blocks before the second exit. The first exit opens a circular path around the mountains (which leads Mario in a circle and is practically useless, but is still needed for a perfect score). Yoshi's Island 3 Secret Exit Lyrics

There are many ways to complete this level, so choose whatever route works for you. The midway point is skipped so that you can stay as small Mario, which will make the first jump in Iggy's Castle easier. In order to get the optimal time of 361, you must jump onto the yellow blocks surrounding a p-switch, and once you reach the far right edge hit and hold jump, let go of the d-pad while you are in the air. If the category you are running requires Yoshi, you can get him from the second of the pair of ? blocks near the start of the level. A common strategy with Yoshi is to put a shell in his mouth while running so he doesn't slow down while running past berries.

11 Exit

The optimal route for 11 Exit is to grab the Cloud glitch item in this level, then carry it all the way to the Bowser fight to manipulate Bowser's AI.
The easy setup makes the pixel perfect koopa despawn trivial at the cost of a couple seconds.
